After school Art and Craft Club children get creative printing their own deigns onto cotton bags.
At Art and Craft Club yesterday, we looked at how the ‘human story’ can inspire artists.
As Red Nose Day was so close, we used the idea of raising money for disadvantaged people as inspiration to make Red Nose clay masks.
All the proceeds from yesterday’s session have been donated to Comic Relief 2015.
Children enjoyed making lively and colourful jungle scenes at an Amy’s Artbarn arty party. This is the first printmaking party we have organised and it was such fun, we’ll have to do some more!
Using the picture book ‘Walking through the Jungle’ by Julie Lacome as inspiration, nursery children made these beautiful prints. Once dry, the printed creatures and flowers will be cut out and stuck onto their ‘jungle’ backgrounds.
