‘…a warm and welcoming creative environment…your instruction was clear and calm and you were super lovely with the kids, really encouraging and enthusiastic and we all felt really at home’
– Anna (parent)
Breckland Art Trail has come to Temple Barn Pottery! With ceramic workshops for adult and children run by Amy’s Artbarn and pottery throwing demonstrations by Ruthanne Tudball it has been a hive of activity here. Norfolk photographer Erin Patel visited and captured some of the action…
‘Thank you so much for a wonderful morning spent in a relaxed atmosphere where options are given and creative ideas can be realised. A must-be-repeated activity’.
‘Thanks you for your guidance and patience, Amy. I’ve loved being creative this morning. Thrilled with my bowl and can’t wait to come again’.
– Sarah Davies
Above are some examples of popular pottery projects here at Amy’s Artbarn.
For parties and making sessions, you will have the opportunity to choose in advance what sort of project you would like to do. Each project is taught step-by-step, however there is plenty of opportunity to make your pottery piece very much your own unique creation. Let your imagination run wild if you like!
Although the clay projects do vary in complexity, age limits are not suggested, as abilities vary so much at all ages. It is suggested that for making sessions involving younger children, extra pairs of adult hands are available should they be needed to ensure success for everyone.
If you have ideas of your own about something you would like to make, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!
